What’s Aging Your Face And How To Fix It While Still Looking Like Yourself
After you hit 28, guess what? You are aging in a way that shows up (if you have kids, I’m sure they’re telling you!). There are a TON of simple solutions to aging that can spruce you up without making you look like someone other than yourself. Let’s explore the face for problem areas in aging and their solutions.
Up close, the gal in our photo doesn’t look great, but out in the world, she likely looks like an average aging woman. When you see the finished after photo, it looks dramatic, but it’s truly just subtle changes in her skin that make the difference. Additionally, in the after photo, she looks bright and rested even though her lifestyle didn’t change. What can you do to make these minor changes and look more rested yourself? Read on…
Problems With Dull or Red or Spotty Skin
The easiest thing you can do to make yourself look younger is to brighten up your skin. A great peel, some microdermabrasion, an OxyGeneo Facial….any of these will give you a mild boost in your brightness. However, the one with the greatest results to really perk things up is IPL Photorejuvenation. This amazing laser service uses light technology to clear out the cobwebs of time from your face. Reduce or remove age spots, general redness, broken face veins, and more in a treatment that takes less than 30 minutes. Huge results in a single treatment. It does usually take more than one to completely fix things up, but most people are ecstatic even after the first time they come for it. For a more comprehensive blog about IPL, click here…, but here is a good before, immediately after, and 4 weeks later photo from a single treatment!
Darkness And Wrinkling Around The Eye Area
There are an array of choices to fix the aging around your eyes. It depends more what your specific concern is…
Let’s face it, no at home product truly removes dark circles. But we do have a technology that will! Our Venus Legacy has a setting on it that uses magnet therapy to increase circulation in the eye area. It absolutely removes dark circles. It is so effective that it can actually remove a bruise from your face or body. It’s painless, inexpensive, and relaxing and only takes minutes to do.
Crows Feet At Edges Of Eyes
If you dislike those lines drifting down your cheeks from your eyes, there are a couple of good solutions.
A little bit of Botox in the wrinkles can really make a huge difference in your crows feet. It’s simple and fast and usually has no down time.
Venus Legacy RF Skin Tightening
If you’re someone who’s anti-Botox, the Legacy does a great job of squashing those wrinkles AND removing dark circles simultaneously. Painless, relaxing, and inexpensive, it’s a great way to fix those wrinkles.
Under Eye Fine Lines or Upper Eye Lid Drooping
For this particular aging problem, the Venus Viva helps with everything. It uses radio waves in a MicroNeedling formation to give great eye results on upper and lower eyelids. It works best if you do a few treatments. The Viva has some discomfort, and 1 day of downtime, but neither get many complaints from the clients due to the results. How does it work? See below…
Flattening Of Face or Volume Loss In Face
Really the only way to fix this issue is with filler. There are amazing and subtle fillers available these day that truly do a great job solving this aging issue. I must say though… YOUR INJECTOR MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD. It’s bad injectors that make faces that look like monsters on TV and in the movies. We all know someone who’s had something done (in person or on TV) that we said, “what in the world have they done?!?!” That’s all about how your doctor or nurse handles the process. For example, Voluma placed delicately along the cheek line looks beautiful and natural… Voluma loaded up in the front of the cheek makes the person look like a chipmunk. Too much filler in the lower face makes your face look heavy. To learn more about a variety of filler options check out What Is The Difference Between Botox and Filler?
Here are some examples:
Heavy Wrinkles On Forehead And/Or Between Brows
So…. for those who are anti-Botox, I have some bad news. Nothing works as well as Botox to fix forehead lines. Trust me, I’ve tried a ton of products and services on clients for those who don’t want to step into the injection world and have never found a solution. To reassure you though, Botox done well looks great and doesn’t leave you motionless in your forehead. Once again, your injector is the solution, so choose well!
You can also do a Venus Viva. It helps with texture, pore size, and fine lines on the forehead, but unfortunately, it won’t give you the complete solution of what Botox can provide.
There’s a world of options out there for many of these face issues. These are our personal favorites (also the ones we’ve seen the most success with!)
